Mindfulness Workshop:  Connecting To Your Nervous System for Emotional Flexibility

Join us for our 4-week group, Connecting To Your Nervous System for Emotional Flexibility, beginning in May. If you are finding it difficult to de-stress, turn down the intensity of anxiety, or shift out of exhaustion, our workshop will help you build the awareness and skills to be mindful of what is happening within your autonomic nervous system when you are stressed, anxious, or exhausted and what you can do to help recover.

The group will meet weekly via Zoom on Wednesday evenings 6:45pm-8:00pm beginning 5/22/24 until 6/12/24. Recordings will also be available.

In this class you will learn how to:

  • Build awareness of your nervous system state

  • Develop emotional flexibility through awareness and self-compassion

  • Connect with how your body responds to stressors

  • Bring in tools & skills to ‘hack’ your nervous system

  • Use different breathing techniques and body movements to recover from stress, fatigue, and overwhelm

The cost is $99 for the series of 4 classes

Classes will be co-facilitated by Peyton English LMSW*, and Inga Overstreet, LPC graduate intern*. Classes will be educational and interactive, plus, you’ll get the added support of a small group community.

Participants have the option to schedule a free 15-minute consultation phone call before participating in the live workshop to ensure it’s the right fit.

* Supervised by Cyndi Collen, LCSW-S
