TWO SEATS OPEN !
Find out what it feels like to receive empathy, compassion, and acceptance from others while allowing yourself to be open and honest by engaging in group therapy.
This Thursday evening mindfulness therapy group for anxiety and depression is a long-term, process-oriented group that meets for 90 minutes at least three times per month. Participants report feeling more confident, connected and validated from attending group consistently.
Cyndi Collen, LCSW-S facilitates this group and she brings in a judgment-free approach that is based on mindful nervous system regulation, self-compassion, attachment, and polyvagal theories. These pillars guide participants toward self-discovery by providing a safe space to become vulnerable and intimate with others while also learning about yourself through interactions and other perspectives.
Being a part of a long-term therapy processing group can help you:
Improve communication skills
Cultivate assertiveness and find your voice within a safe facilitated environment
Feel heard, seen, and connected
Develop insight into habitual relational patterns
Increase self-acceptance
Live more fully and authentically in the present moment
Requirements:
Joining a long-term therapy group is different than starting individual therapy. We require you to meet with the group’s facilitator at least three (3) times for individual sessions to ensure you, the facilitator, and the group are a good fit for your personal goals.
The three (3) individual 45-minute sessions to explore joining the group are $95/each and are scheduled after the free 15-minute phone call with the facilitator.
There is a monthly fee of $195 charged at the beginning of the month. This fee includes three (3) group sessions even if you do not attend all of them. There are no refunds for cancellations, sick days, or vacation days. Sometimes the group decides to meet more than three (3) times and if you choose to attend a 4th group the fee is $65.
This group has a limited amount of seats for each session, and group members commit to participating for at least 6 months.
