Relational Processing Group for Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse & Trauma

This group is currently full, however, we have a waitlist for a new group forming in the spring of 2025. Reach out to us to find out more about the group and to join the waitlist.

This is a relational therapy group that helps people process, in community, the overwhelming experiences of childhood trauma, including physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, gaslighting or manipulation, and negligence.

Show up exactly as you are, say what you need to say. Find commonality and learn by listening and connecting with others. Experience what it feels like to give and receive empathy, compassion, and acceptance. Whatever you’ve been through, whatever you struggle with, you can talk about it here. The safe community built among group members helps to decrease shame and repair attachment wounds. Choose being seen/heard, disrupt protective patterns of withdrawal and isolation.

Consistent participation in this relational processing group can help you:

  • Feel seen, heard, and connected

  • Increase self-acceptance, decrease guilt/shame

  • Build mindfulness (of body-emotions-mind interactions) and resourcing (calming nervous system) skills

  • Develop insight into (and ability to shift) habitual relational patterns

  • Be in the present moment, living more fully and authentically

  • Cultivate your voice, using this safe facilitated environment to develop the skill of assertiveness

Group Details and Requirements:
- Begins Wednesday October 23rd
- Online 90-minute sessions meeting biweekly (every other week)
- 6:30pm - 8:00pm
- The cost of group is $140 every 4 weeks*

*The cost of group is $140 every 4 weeks. This fee includes two (2) group sessions even if you do not attend all of them. There are no refunds for cancellations, sick days, emergencies, or vacation days.

Prerequisites

Joining a long-term therapy group is different than starting individual therapy. We require you to meet with the group’s facilitator at least three (3) times for individual sessions to ensure you, the facilitator, and the group are a good fit for your personal goals.

The three (3) individual 30-minute sessions to explore joining the group are $50 each ($150 total) and are scheduled after the free 15-minute phone call with the facilitator.

Nikki Williams, LPC

brings a relational and direct approach that is judgment-free.

She is a developmental (childhood) trauma specialist (and survivor) whose intuitive style is grounded in mindful nervous system regulation, somatic-focused, self-compassion, attachment, and polyvagal theories.

These pillars guide participants toward self-discovery by providing space to be vulnerable and embodied with others while also learning about themselves through interactions and varied perspectives.

“I've learned from personal and clinical experience that we heal best in community. I invite you to consider if now is the time to take this brave growth step.”
